Hydrogen Wind & Solar Energy Sectors

In the clean energy industries such as hydrogen energy, wind energy and solar energy, high-performance engineering plastics including PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone)PEI (Polyetherimide)PPSU (Polyphenylsulfone)PSU (Polysulfone)PES (Polyethersulfone) and PI (Polyimide) are widely applied.

PEEK features exceptional high-temperature resistance and mechanical properties, making it ideal for manufacturing frames and connectors of solar panels. PEI boasts excellent electrical insulation and heat resistance, and is often used in electrical components of wind power generation equipment.

PPSU, PSU and PES exhibit outstanding chemical resistance and stability, which can be adopted to produce components for hydrogen storage and pipeline equipment. PI demonstrates excellent high-temperature and radiation resistance, playing a vital role in solar concentrators and hydrogen fuel cells.

For instance, in large-scale wind farms, electrical insulation components made of PEI ensure the stable transmission of electricity; in hydrogen storage tanks, high-quality seals made of PPSU guarantee the safe storage of hydrogen. The application of these materials has driven the development of the clean energy industry, while improving energy conversion efficiency and equipment reliability.
