In the aerospace field, specialty engineering plastics such as PEEK (Polyether Ether Ketone), PEI (Polyetherimide) and PPS (Polyphenylene Sulfide) play an important role.

PEEK boasts outstanding high-temperature resistance, chemical corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, enabling it to maintain stability in high-temperature and harsh environments. It is often used to manufacture components for aircraft engines. PEI, on the other hand, features high strength, excellent heat resistance and good electrical insulation properties, making it ideal for producing aircraft interior parts and casings of electronic devices.

PPS is renowned for its superior heat resistance, corrosion resistance and dimensional stability. In aerospace applications, it is frequently adopted to fabricate heat-resistant engine components such as seals. For instance, the engine seals of a certain aircraft model are made of PPS, which effectively enhances sealing performance and service life. Meanwhile, the interior panels of some new aircraft models use PEI materials, which not only ensure structural strength but also reduce overall weight.

The application of these specialty engineering plastics has greatly improved the performance and reliability of aerospace equipment.
